Lindsey Sampson
To form the basis of our modern icon collages, we undertook a casual photo shoot with the aim of capturing gestures and shapes. Late in the summer of 2022, before Lindsey's transition to Nashville, we met in her Boston home (conveniently located not far from where I live and where my daughter's summer camp bus stop happened to be) to explore movement and expression. I love the niave quality of these shots, deliberately embracing the younger, exploratory version of my past self as a photographer, when all I had was some Tri-X, a scoop light, and a willing model.
